Serving as Chief Legal and Human Resource Officer, Leticia Espinoza is an exceptional leader whose strong business and legal acumen has enabled Heritage GrocersGroup to align, achieve and advance business priorities in compliance with government and regulatory guidelines.

In her role, Leticia oversees the day-to-day operations of the company’s legal, risk management, quality assurance, payroll, human resources and training departments.

Leticia joined the Cardenas Markets banner as general counsel and corporate secretary in 2019. She came to Cardenas Markets with direct in-house legal experience gained during her tenure with another Hispanic grocer, Bodega Latina Corporation, now known as Chedraui USA. She has extensive retail grocery experience, over 25 years of legal experience and has served as an in-house legal executive since 2000. Leticia has extensive experience in the areas of corporate law, labor and employment law, legal department organization and management, human resources, risk management, compliance, construction, real estate, and financial services.

Leticia holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and a J.D. from Cornell Law School.  She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Cardenas Markets Foundation and the Arizona Food Marketing Alliance.
